HOW TO KAYAK UNDER PHANG NGA BAY KRASTS

  1. Book kayaking online, or by a Phuket travel agent or at your Phuket hotel tour desk. Bring reef shoes, sunscreen, hat/cap that won't blow off on the speed boat ride, tipping money, phone and camera protection.

  2. Transfer by included mini van from your hotel to speed boats at the Royal Phuket Marina on the eastern side of Phuket. They sell reef shoes for 400 baht and waterproof phone bags @ 100 baht.

  3. 20 minutes by fast speed boat to karsts in Phang Nga Bay where a fleet of inflateable kayaks wait, each with a local kayaking guide.

  4. Your guide with his tourch, will paddle you through dark caves under karsts into a clearing surrounded by karsts as shown in the photo at the bottom of this web page.

  5. If you're on a day trip, it might also include a visit to spectacular Hong Island with views of James Bond island, lunch on a floating island and swimming at the beautiful tropical island beach of Rang Yai, near Phuket, south Thailand.

  6. This kayaking day trip out of Phuket through Phang Nga Bay is free if you book at least one night in our luxury Phuket beach villa @ only A$200 per night  Four people = A$50 pp. At least one person must have an annual income of over $75,000 and attend a 90 minute presentation about the resort.
