Please note SKYCITY Hotel has a no party policy. A valid credit card (NOT debit card) is required upon arrival. Our Reception staff will take a pre-authorization equal to the first nights’ accommodation charge, any other known charges and tax. An imprint of your credit card will be taken and the final bill will be settled on check out. Please note that you may be asked for photo ID at time of check in. Attractions SKYCITY Metro: located on Queen Street, you’ll find movie theatres, hi-tech games, a bookstore, cyber cafe and a host of restaurants and bars. SkyWalk: Take the challenge of walking the circumference of the Sky Tower. SkyWalk is the first in the Southern Hemisphere to do so without rails or balcony, just the safety harness. Sky Jump: leap 192 m from Sky Tower and experience the New Zealand’s longest jump. Sky Jump is a cable-controlled base jump off Sky Tower using fan descender technology used in the film industry. Airtime is approximately 25 seconds at about 75 km per hour before landing softly on your feet on the landing platform in the plaza below. Sky Tower: rising 328 m above sea level and offering spectacular 360 degree views from three observation levels, it’s the tallest structure in the Southern Hemisphere. Stand on glass floor panels and stare straight at the street below, or relax with a coffee in Sky Lounge. Car Parking Self-parking is offered in the SKYCITY building for hotel guests at a charge $20.00 per day (one entry, one exit). Please validate your parking ticket at hotel reception upon checkout. Alternatively valet parking is available at a charge of $30.00 per day. The valet parking is great value. Child Policy Up to 2 children under the age of 12 years may share a room with a paying adult free of charge (using existing bedding). If a rollaway is required, a charge of $29.00 is incurred. Cots for infants are available free of charge.
