accommodation with fine dining in a National Trust Mansion in Queenstown.
The spacious master suite features a queen size bed and breath-taking views
of Mt Owen. The three other large bedrooms feature queen size beds,
ensuites, antique furnishings and the Jukes guest wing features two rooms
with a share bathroom that is ideal for family groups.
The history of Penghana, built as the mine managers residence in 1898, is
represented with historic photographs, antique furniture, mine memorabilia.
Overlooking Queenstown and surrounded by rainforest the beautiful stained
glass front entrance, beautiful blackwood staircase, open fires and
spacious rooms are all reminders of its significant past. Enjoy a fine
dinner in a stately dining room, a private guest lounge, a game of
billiards or a complimentary glass of port. Breakfasts are included in the
tarriff and evening meals are available all year by arrangement.
