Peterborough Caravan Park (South Australia)
General Description
The Peterborough Caravan Park was the recipient of the Northern South
Australian Business Award for Caravan Parks and Camping grounds in 2002.
The Award was a joint venture of the Northern Regional Development Board
and Flinders Ranges and Outback South Australia.
The ark is set in a quiet area of the historic railway town of
Peterborough. It contains a modern amenities block and large drive through
sites all with their own water, electricity and sullage. The park offers
cabins, on site vans, a purpose built disabled facility, large laundry and
mini golf. Alongside the caravan park is one of the finest recreational
areas in the north with a lake, islands, animals, playground andbarbeque
area.
A public pool (open summer months only) is a short walk from the park.
