District, the Dresser Palmer House features 15 luxury guest rooms, 10 with
working gas fireplaces, all with private baths. Built in 1876 as a duplex
for the Dresser and Palmer families, the 11,000 square foot property was
converted into an Inn in 1997. Enjoy our wonderful front verandah, reputed
to be the longest front porch in Savannah. Off the second floor at the rear
of the house is a very large shared verandah looking out over the lush
tropical back gardens. Perfect for an elopement package or a full scale
wedding, please be sure to ask for our wedding specialist to make your
event memorable. Enjoy the gourmet Southern breakfast served from 8am to
10am each morning as well as our evening social complete with hors d?
oeuvres and complimentary wine each evening from 5:30pm to 7pm. Also
included in the rate is our off-street parking for all of our guests, which
is very important in the Historic District. Our concierge team is here 24
hours per day to assist you with every need. Children 14 and older are
welcome at the Inn.
