General Description
The Antigallican Hotel was built in the 53rd year of Queen
Victoria's reign in July 1890. Set in a beautiful old British building,
our Hotel is a lovely place to stay for families as well as backpackers
travelling through Europe. We have excellent facilities including a fully
equipped kitchen and common room. There is free Wi-fi Internet throughout
the building and much more. The hotel is very clean and the majority of our
rooms are en-suite. Our staff are friendly, welcoming and knowledgeable and
will make sure that your visit to London is a memorable one. On the ground
floor of the building you will find The Antigallican Pub, a traditional
English pub with a big screen for all of you who want to follow the latest
sport. Conveniently located near to the hostel is historical Greenwich;
here you will be able to visit the Thames Barrier (only 10 min walk from
the hotel), The Maritime Museum, the Royal Observatory and Greenwich park.
You can also have a stroll along the River Thames or have a family or
romantic dinner in the several restaurants situated in the Greenwich
Village. Also located close to the hotel is the Millennium Dome known as
the O2 Arena which is the main stage for the biggest acts in London and an
excellent place to have a drink or meal. Charlton station (30 second walk
from the Hotel) will take you directly to London Bridge or Charing Cross
(main station in London centre) in less than 20 min. We look forward to
