General Description
Travellers Inn Private has welcoming atmosphere, friendly staff and
comfotable rooms. We offer some usual things, which every hostel has, such
as: free breakfast, free internet (also WiFi), free linens, free washer,
central location etc. But also we have some extras that can make your stay
in Krakow better. We offer free tours, our own, short guide to places we
like in Krakow, blog with up to date information about events and some free
bikes to use. Our location is perfect, we're on a wide, quiet square
beneath the Wawel Castle, 5 min. walk to The Main Square as well as to
Kazimierz (Jewish District).
Transportation
KrakowTramTake tram no. 2 or bus no. 502. If you go bytram you should
get of on 3rd, if by bus on 2ndstop. In both cases the stop is called
Filharmonia. Follow Floriana Straszewskiego street (justproceed straight)
and take the second turn (ifyou came by tram) or the first (if by bus) to
theright. It is Plac na Groblach, and we're here atNo.8. Check the
times on the schedule of tramno.2 and bus no. 502 from the trainbus
station. to get to the city from the bus station walkthrough adjacent train
station to square in frontof it. WalkIf you have some time to spare (about
20-30min.), the weather is nice and you're not weigheddown by a
gigantic backpack, why not walk hereIt is a nice stroll and will give you a
good firstlook at the city. Walk through the pedestrian subway towardsthe
city center. Take the exit straight ahead, andafter reaching the top of a
hill, continue walkingto the left. The path goes via Planty (the
parkstretching around the Main Square area). After awhile you'll see
Dominikaska street (with tramtracks) crossing the Planty. Take it to the
right. Follow Dominikaska and continue as it turnsinto Franciszkaska until
it crosses Straszewskiegostreet. Turn left onto Straszewskiego. TheFirst
turn on the right is Plac na Groblach. You'llfind our hostel here at
No.8B) From the Airport Krakow BaliceTrainTake train from the Airport and
get off at the MainRailway Station. Follow the instructions givenabove. The
train leaves every 30 min, costs 7PLN. The whole journey takes 15 min. The
trainstop is about 200m form main terminal. BusTake bus No. 292 and get off
next to the lowerplatform of the Main Bus Station (DworzecGny Wsch). Follow
the instructions givenabove. The journey takes 45 min., one wayticket
(bilet normalny) costs 2,50 PLN plus youshould have another 2,50 PLN ticket
for yourluggage, if it is big and heavy. A good option is 1hour ticket
(bilet godzinny) for 3 PLN, it will bevalid for you and your luggage as
well. TaxiTaking a taxi to the hostel from the airport costsabout 60 PLN.
