Putra Palace Hotel Kangar
General Description
The Putra Palace Hotel, Kangar, Perlis offers a variety of services
and facilities to make your holiday a wonderful experience in rest,
relaxation, recreation and productivity or business trip. All of our 145
guest rooms including 16 deluxe rooms, 16 suites and 1 penthouse are very
spacious, comfortably furnished and complete with a view overlooking either
the township of Kangar or the hills and 'Kampung' villages with
paddy fields. Room amenities include individual air-conditioning control
system, en suite bathroom with hair-dryer, IDD telephone, television with
in-house movies and broadcast channels, clockradio, mini bar, iron and
ironing board and complimentary tea and coffee-making facilities.
.FACILITIES. A landscape swimming pool with sun deck and a wading pool for
children. For exercise, there is a fitness centre complete with gymnasium
equipment. Aerobic is a weekday event. Other facilities included
volleyball, takraw, netball, pingpong and carrom, 24 hour reception, 24
hour room service, business centre with secretarial services, facsimile, PC
and internet facilities, baby-sitting service, currency exchange, laundry
and valet service and safe deposit box.
Transportation
It is easily accessible from the North-Souht Expressway via the Alor
Setar-Jitra or the Changlun interchange. If you are travelling by air, you
can disembark at the Alor Setar airport and enjoy a short drive by taxi to
Kangar. Alternatively ferry services are available from Langkawi to Kuala
Perlis, just a scenic 15 minutes driver to Kangar town.
