A short ferry ride from the Great Barrier Reef Airport on Hamilton Island,
or just minutes by boat from Airlie Beach, Daydream Island Resort and Spa

suites, each one luxuriously appointed with modern amenities, framed by
views of secluded beaches or stunning rainforest.
Guests can indulge and pamper at the award winning Rejuvenation Spa. The
refined elegance of this spectacular facility is reflected in its 16
private rooms offering the latest in naturopathy, hydrotherapy,

such as snorkelling, sailboarding, jet skiing, parasailing, coral viewing,

Car Parking
Parking is available at Able Point Marina. Cruise Whitsundays offer
luxury launch transfers to Daydream Island from Abel Point Marina.
Secure Car Parking is available at Shute Harbour and can be booked by
contacting +61 7 4946 9666. Fantasea Cruises offer luxury launch transfer
to Daydream Island from Shute Harbour.
Child Policy
Max of 5 people per room.
0 years - 14 years inclusive: Infants utilising a cot are free of charge
and up to two (2) children, 14 years or under, stay free of charge when
sharing a room with parents/adults and utilising existing bedding. Only the
room rate and breakfast is FOC for up to 2 children, any other package
inclusions are an additional cost.
Additional adult is an additional $100 per night. 5th person is an
additional $100 per night.
Transportation
The Whitsundays are serviced by two domestic airports, Great Barrier
Reef Airport on Hamilton Island (HTI) and Whitsunday Coast Airport on the
mainland at Proserpine (PPP).
From Great Barrier Reef Airport (HTI) Cruise Whitsundays and Fantasea
Cruises meet flights for a comfortable 30 minute catamaran cruise to
Daydream Island, departing from the jetty located directly at the airport.
From Whitsunday Coast Airport (PPP) Cruise Whitsundays offer a streamlined
transfer with a 30 minute coach connection directly from the airport to
Abel Point Marina in Airlie Beach, where a connecting ferry transfers
guests to Daydream Island in 30 minutes. Alternatively, Whitsunday Transit
Coaches meet all flights for a 1 hour transfer to Shute Harbour where
Fantasea Cruises provide a regular service to Daydream Island taking 15
minutes. Guests are advised to check ferry times prior to flight booking to
ensure resort connection.
Helicopter services with Heli-reef are also available during daylight from
Great Barrier Reef Airport (HTI) and Proserpine. For enquiries and bookings

The Whitsundays can also be accessed via the Bruce Highway which covers the
East coast of Queensland from Cairns to Brisbane. Dependant on conditions,
driving time from Brisbane is approximately 12 hours north to Airlie Beach
and Shute Harbour and 8 hours south from Cairns. Regular coach services
also operate into Airlie Beach.
Transferring from Abel Point Marina:
Secure Car Parking is available. Cruise Whitsundays offer luxury launch
transfers to Daydream Island from Abel Point Marina.
